| President's Message There are two shoes in a pair. One simply does not go out with out the other. They are a compliment to each other. Together, they take on the task at hand, to include foot protection, support, and taking us on our journey.... step by step. At the end of the day, they are found in a cozy resting spot to reenergize, ready for what tomorrow brings. This past year Vice President Barbara Tolliver Haskins has been my complement. We met monthly for coffee, kicked off our shoes, feet firmly grounded, rolled up our sleeves and worked together, towards the smooth transition of WBO leadership. Together with the Board, we carried on what was begun in previous years, stepping forward today and looking ahead to the future. I am confident that the work begun will proceed forward with the leadership team you have elected. I encourage all of you to get involved and join a committee. To every member and those who are entertaining the thought - WBO needs you. Each of you brings gifts and talents - and shoes for the closet! A huge closet full of shoes! Make plans to attend next month's June 22nd dinner meeting. We will hold the installation of new officers. A great opportunity to meet your new board and the distinguished Past Presidents of WBO. We encourage you to make your dues renewal payment at this meeting. Everyone who pays by the June 22nd meeting will receive a free drink ticket. Let's continue to step up and out together, to continue to create and recognize opportunities to lift up the successes of women in the business world, both collectively and individually. Kim
