Workshop to address training needs

Recognizing the ever-increasing dependence on computer technology to communicate with and train its clients, the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) asked women business owners currently participating in a program or receiving services to participate in the survey. Just over 30 percent responded.

The flexibility afforded by self-employment is often regarded as a way to better balance work and home activities. However, just as little is known about the non-market activities of women, little is known about the differences in time allocations between self-employed women and women employed in other organizations.
